Z Scale Train Layout: custom-built, over-and-under Figure 8 w generous curves
We call this Z scale layout the ELONGATED Figure 8. It is just 30" x 16" in size (small enough to be stored in an under-the-bed box). The total track length of 160 inches. Why is that important? Because of the extra looping built into the track plan, the minimum track radius is 170 mm (by Z-scale standards, that's generous -- many are 120 mm or less), and the uphill climb has been kept to a 3.5% incline (downhill runs 4.5%).
The price listed includes just the track and the scenery. It does not include any buildings, power supply, locomotive, or train cars.
As you can see from the pictures, there are two hill tops on the layout: one allows for a small village to be added, the other has a lake that we have built into it.
We charge $75.00 for shipping and handling (the layout will be professionally packed by UPS and shipped UPS Ground).
We do NOT accept returns.

One final note: This layout can easily be EXPANDED by adding either our Double-Track Outer Loop (36" x 24") that fits around this Elongated Figure 8 layout OR the Mountain Topper that can sit on top of it. (Should you have any trouble finding either layout on eBay, just message us.)
