We call this layout THE BOOKCASE LINE because it can fit either on top of a low bookcase or perhaps on one of its  shelves (the layout is 32" x 13" in size and has 145 mm curves, which means most compact Z-Scale equipment will have no trouble on this layout).
 
     What we love most about this layout is the 9" high mountain with a river and waterfall that runs from the back edge of the mountain top down the waterfall and then into a catch basin at the bottom. 
 
     We think, when you see a layout like this LIVE -- especially when you step back a few steps -- it will seem like you are looking at a real mountain off in the distance with an actual train (think back to how they used to used miniatures to make movie sets -- we call it this the "Illusion of Z Scale").

In a 47" x 23" size, we make both a Double Loop Outer Oval and a  Single Loop Oval with a Siding.
