It is one of the SMALLER N-Scale layouts we make (72" x 27" in size) -- and as such can only run smaller trains (we recommend a max of 8-cars per track. We do, if your space and budget allow it, offer a STRETCHED version (the N3b), which adds 3 feet in length and lets you run a much longer train (potentially as long as 16 cars). 
 
     This layout works well either in DC or DCC.
 
     One note about the size: on some of the pictures and video it says "66 inches" long--please note that we now only make in a 72" length (it works better that way).

     The layout is 72" long by 27" wide with curves that are 315 mm and 282 mm and which has four sidings. Note that the TRACK PLAN shown in the pictures for this list shows an IMPROVED VERSION of the original, so means that the layout you receive will not look exactly like the one on the video or pictures (which we think is a good thing in that we IMPROVED the layout and made it longer and added more sidings).      In closing, a personal note from BILL BEIN of LoganSquareZandN: "I HATE turnouts from both Kato (N) and Rokuhan (Z), and I do not think you can back trains through Kato N or Rokuhan Z onto sidings with no derailments. I use my sidings for decoration only."
