This is the STRETCHED version of the N1 layout -- where we added an extra 3' of space and made the layout be 10' in total length. And that allows for much longer trains (we recommend a 16-car max IF you are running two trains on the track).
 
If space is tight (or your budget) we do have a smaller version of the layout (the N1a) -- which is just 7' in length (but of course can only run shorter trains).
 
This layout can run two trains at a time on the same track because there is a HOLDING TRACK that makes having two trains share the same track easy (because now you can run just one train and park the other).
 
     The layout works best in DCC (but with some "jerry-rigging" we think you could run it in DC). It gets shipped in 3 sections (with details on this shown below).

    To summarize, the layout is 120" long by 34" wide with a holding track long enough for trains up to 16-cars long and with curves that are 315 mm. We provide all the internal wiring the layout needs (track feeds and powered turnout feeds)--for DC or DCC wiring. We do not provide any power controllers (either for track or turnouts)  nor do we furnish any locomotives, cars, or buildings. All track is Kato Unitrack.
