The Single-Track Small Oval Line can be a small, 36" x 17" stand-alone train set, but, frankly, we hope it will always be COMBINED AND STACKED with other layouts we sell -- perhaps sitting ABOVE one of our Large Outer Ovals or resting BELOW one of our Small Insert Layouts (like the Trunk Line or Bookcase Line) -- or, and this is our favorite: being the middle layer of the FOUR-TRACK, THREE-LEVEL MAGIC MOUNTAIN.
 
     If you stack the Single-Track Small Oval Line on either the Double-Track Large Oval or the Single-Track Large Oval with Siding (both of which are 47” x 23” in size), now you can run both compact trains on the 170 mm Small Oval and large American-Style locomotives and cars on the large oval.
If you stack the BOOKCASE LINE on top of the Single-Track Small Oval Line, now you will have two trains running (1 with curves at 145 mm and the other at 170 mm) in a very compact space (36" x 17"). Or, if you really want to rule, then buy our Magic Mountain Layout. This combines three layouts – with the Double-Track Large Oval on the Bottom, the Single-Track Small Oval in the middle, and the Bookcase Line with Mountain and Waterfall on the top. Now you can run FOUR TRAINS at a time and save $200.00 by buying them as a set instead of buying each layout individually.
 
     We also like the symmetry of how the Magic Mountain builds out its curves: the top-level Bookcase Line curves are 145 mm, then comes the Single-Track Oval with170 mm, and on the bottom the Double-Track Large Oval with 195 mm curves on the inside and 220 mm on the outside. In other words, you can run compact equipment on the inside and full-sized American-style locomotives and cars on the outside.

If you buy just the Single-Track Small Oval, the price includes the track, one power-feed cable, and all glued-down scenery (but no buildings, power supply, locomotive, or train cars). In addition, because each layout is custom built, there will be some difference in appearance between the layout you get and the one used for the original video and pictures.
