That's right: long trains with American-style locomotives and American-style cars are not only NO PROBLEM, they are what this layout was DESIGNED FOR. 
 
     We would encourage you to watch the video a 2nd time -- this time to focus on what we call the ILLUSION of Z Scale: When you combine one of our inserts with an outer oval, now the mainline trains disappear from sight for so long a time that there is no sense of a train chasing its own tail--instead, it now looks, especially when you take one step back, like a train that is a mile away.
